Schools + Communities = An inclusive approach
![]() ![]() Visiting weekly our partner primary schools as well as neighbouring families is an efficient and sustainable way to improve Water, Hygiene and Sanitation in a community. Since 2016, we have been training teachers so they can train their students on best hygiene practices. Children then pass along the message to their families. Our goal : learning and sharing, one child and one family at a time. Education is key !

Awareness + training = A sustainable change
![]() ![]() Working hand in hand with the Haitian People allowed us to gain trust from our partner communities, and see long-lasting Water, Hygiene and Sanitation behavioral change in hundreds of homes. Every day, our team spends time in vulnerable neighbourhoods: focus groups, home visits, mass awareness campaigns, our hygiene ambassadors never stop raising awareness and sharing helpful tips on how to improve daily hygiene practices. We do it all, every day, no matter what !

Hygiene + Menstrual health = A comprehensive model
![]() ![]() Every day, in Haiti and around the world, tens of thousands of little girls miss school because there is no water to wash their hands after they change their pads, or because teachers are not well-prepared to answer their questions and classmates make fun of them. During their period, many women cannot eat at the family table during dinner, or sleep in their bed with their husband. Taboos, lack of understanding, shame… all the reasons have had damaging impacts on communities for decades. Thanks to our training program and group discussions, teachers, students, mothers, teenage boys, fathers and friends are starting to change their views on what it means to be a woman.

Soap + Reusable Pads = A local demand
Everything started in 2016 when we decided that no hotels in Haiti should throw away their used bars of soap left in rooms by clients after checkout. Not only will this prevent unnecessary trash, it will also allow soap to have a new life ! Thanks to our environmentally friendly soap recycling technique, we have been remaking soap and distributing it for free to schools and communities. We are also able to add unique Haitian fragrances to our newly made bars and sell it to boutiques and online. After years of mastering soap recycling, we are now proud to be making liquid soap, and to sew washable and reusable menstrual washing pads. Our production journey never stops !
